Initially constructed in the 30’s, this Mediterranean home had been through several renovations. We gutted the house, completely changing the location of some of the rooms, added over 2500 square feet including a basement area, that houses a family room, workout and yoga room, extra bedroom and a wine cellar. We added a rotunda over the office, and extended the kitchen out for a breakfast area and a butler’s pantry. We custom designed all Spanish Style lighting fixtures, fireplaces, and many of the furnishings. The art glass windows in the great room were designed by Kathleen McMullen.
The home was designed to be a true indoor – outdoor space, taking advantage of Ojai’s balmy weather. The pool and outdoor living areas were designed by local Ojai architect, Marc Whitman.
The home is now impressively luxurious, yet comfortable and child and pet friendly. A family home come true.
